It is not at this stage possible to give a date for the reopening of  the resort but based on current assessments it is likely to be around April 2012. More updates to follow.

Activities on Dunk Island There is almost no end to the activities you can enjoy on and around the island: swimming, scuba diving, waterskiing, tennis – Dunk Island even has it’s own nine-hole golf course. Finally, a little trivia: the island was used as a location in Michael Powell’s 1969 film “Age of Consent”, which starred James Mason and Helen Mirren.

Getting here is easy: there are regular flights to Dunk Island Airport from Cairns and most Australian capital cities, or you can take a ferry from Mission Beach.
